These apply to every job on Blockwork.
Never allowed for anyone under 18: ladders or roof work; chainsaws or other power saws; tree trimming above the ground; driving any vehicle; handling pesticides or strong chemicals; work inside an attic, crawl space or pool; anything not in the job description.
Not allowed for teens under 16: power-driven mowers, trimmers, edgers or blowers.
Hours: jobs must fit the hours limits for your teen's age and state. Blockwork blocks jobs that don't.
For neighbors: describe the job honestly, list hazards you know about, keep pets secured if asked, and have an adult reachable during the job. Don't ask a teen to stay longer or do extra work. Post a new job instead.
For teens: tell your parent where you're going and when. Stop and leave if anything feels wrong, and tell your parent. You never have to do something you're not comfortable with.
Payments: all payments go through Blockwork. Don't pay or get paid in cash or another app for a job found on Blockwork.
